Patty
Patty Harris is an experienced educator, small business owner, and community advocate with more than 20 years of experience in education. She has dedicated her career to helping students succeed and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As a mother and longtime member of the Grand Prairie community, Patty understands the real challenges students, parents, and teachers face every day. Her experience includes working with diverse learners, giving her a well-rounded perspective on education.
Patty is running for GPISD Trustee At-Large Place 3 to bring practical leadership, strengthen academic outcomes, and ensure schools stay focused on what matters most: Student Outcomes.

Student success should be the top priority. Patty is focused on improving academic performance, graduation rates, and college and career readiness so every student is prepared for life after graduation.

Strong schools start with strong teachers. Patty supports better resources, professional development, and policies that help retain high-quality educators.

Every student deserves a safe learning environment. Patty supports strong campus safety measures, mental health resources, and clear communication with families.

Education works best when families are involved. Patty is committed to transparency and building stronger connections between schools, parents, and the community.
